Memorial and Named Gifts

When a loved one dies, you are faced with a painful loss and a multitude of decisions. One of these may be how to create a fitting memorial; a tribute will herald the difference that this special person made in the lives of those around him or her.

You may be content to ask that contributions in lieu of flowers be made to “the charity of one’s choice.” Or, you may want to create something lasting-something that can bear your loved one’s name.

The Legacy Foundation at Shell Point can help:

Did they appreciate the care they received at Shell Point?
Perhaps a memorial to fund a nursing scholarship, Hope Hospice at Shell Point, or the Memory Care Program.

Did they receive special satisfaction from serving others at the Pavilion?
Perhaps honoring them with a donation to the Larsen Pavilion, the Pavilion Auxiliary, or the Shell Point Chaplain Ministry.

Did they have an interest in helping others?
Maybe a gift designated to the Friendship Fund or Ministers and Missionary Fund for residents requiring financial assistance.

Creating a memorial that bears your loved one’s name takes only a few minutes-yet will create a lasting legacy of that special person. Working through the Legacy Foundation at Shell Point can keep their legacy alive by continuing to foster the causes and ideals they held dear.

Gifts of any size are welcome and are fully tax deductible. They can range from a $25.00 donation to the Hope Hospice at Shell Point program, to a significant gift to name a building or establish an endowment fund. All gifts will be acknowledged in Shell Point publications and for larger named gifts, as appropriate.
